Villa Noosa Hotel

The hotel itself was pleasant, with a nice atmosphere, and the reception staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice, although a bed was missing; we were able to work around that. Our family only stayed one night, and we'd booked a table on the Deck of the Pub next door for 6:30 pm on Friday. My mother had noted in the booking that we needed alternative meals, including vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options. There was nothing suitable for our family. We ordered the drinks and whatever food we could. Then we waited over an hour for drinks. My sister asked about vegan choices and got a binder of ingredients, but they wanted close to $30 for four vegetables and a shit pasta. She went to Woolworths and bought her own dinner for $15, half what they wanted to charge. My older sister waited nearly 20 minutes to order at the bar, then was served by a guy who didn't seem to know what he was doing. She got her drinks before my mother and I did, even though we'd ordered half an hour earlier. I went in to ask what had happened. Our orders hadn't gone through the system, even though they'd taken our money. Thankfully, the experienced guy at the bar got my drinks quickly and sorted it out. We waited over an hour for food and didn't leave until almost 9 pm. The food wasn't worth that wait. The men serving us were horrible. We all work in customer service and know how to swear at customers without actually swearing. If you don't like your job, quit. No one wants a sour person serving them where they're trying to eat. Maybe help us instead of rolling your eyes. Really disappointing, and we probably won't book with these people again. Taste: 1/10. Stay: 7/10. Service: 1/10.
