We came to Noosa to pick up a kitten and stayed for the evening. It’s a small, clean hotel room with a shared verandah unless you’re upstairs. Nothing fancy, and really more of a one- or two-night place, but it has what you need. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

A quiet little complex close to Noosa, with two pools and a tennis court. The living area was really comfortable and great for relaxing. The bedrooms are basic but functional, with soft beds, though the beds in the second room are low to the floor, which is great for younger kids. The central air conditioning worked well, and the managers were very friendly.

The appliances felt very dated, and the microwave carousel wouldn’t turn. We mentioned it, but nothing was done. The fan heater in the broom closet was seized and didn’t work. There was no dishwasher, and the beds and pillows were hard enough that we had to go out and buy new pillows. We stayed for a week, and the shower over the bathtub was difficult to get in and out of.

We stayed for a week in December 2016 and had a nice time. The unit was clean and comfortable, and the location was fairly convenient. You can walk into town, though you’ll need a car to get to most other places. We made good use of the tennis courts and BBQs. Hillsong Noosa was great to visit.

The pools and tennis court are a real plus, and the resort is clean with wonderful staff. It’s roughly halfway between Hastings Street and Gympie Terrace, so there are plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. We absolutely love Noosa Sound Resort and highly recommend it.
