The room was spacious and lovely, with spectacular views, and both the pool and the convenient car park were clean. It was so affordable that we added an extra night. I didn’t mind there being no professional room cleaning during our stay, since that helps keep prices down. I prefer people not coming into my private space anyway, and I can pick up after myself. The bar staff were lovely too: when we asked for a few ice cubes to take back for our drinks, they gave us plenty. I’ll definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the well-kept tennis and golf facilities. We had a relaxing stay at Lady Bay Hotel, with a comfortable, clean room overlooking a beautiful golf course and the sea on the horizon. The food was fresh, full of flavour and nicely presented. The Sri Lankan chefs did a great job with the fusion dishes, and eating with those sea views made it even better. I’d happily return.

We had lovely sea views and even saw kangaroos bound past our window one morning. It’s a good place to relax, with a convenient location and plenty of parking, though there’s no undercover parking. The TV only had Foxtel, with no streaming options, and there’s no lift between levels. If you need to avoid stairs, you have to leave the building to use the paths.

The room had nice views and was large, but we didn’t feel it was worth the price. The playground is gone, which was one of the reasons we booked for the kids, and the hotel feels dated. The patio tiles were cracked, the gaps in the glass railing looked large enough for a small child to fall through, and the pull-out sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Someone else parked in our reserved space the whole time. There were no minibar facilities, and although the website said breakfast was available for an extra cost, we were told on arrival they no longer do that. The floor lamp was broken, and the freezer didn’t work, so our ice creams melted through the fridge.

We had two great nights, with plenty of time to unwind and visit nearby towns. The rooms were exceptional, roomy, and had everything we needed. Eating on site was really convenient. We hope to come back.
