Bay Waters Holiday Resort

The boat ramp and riverside restaurant are just 2min away, and there was a BBQ area and games room at the property. We expected a budget stay but got much more. The rooms were clean and tidy, and everyone was friendly and helpful, from Belinda at reception to the guys tending the gardens. Thanks for a fantastic weekend away. Our group will be back and would recommend it to anyone!

We picked Bay Waters for an overnight stop on the way to Mogo Zoo, which is only 15 minutes away. Check-in was easy, with welcoming and helpful staff. The room was clean, tidy, modernised, and nicely laid out, with tea and coffee provided, plus breakfast included. There were plenty of parking spaces right outside the rooms. It's affordable, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone travelling down Batemans Bay.

Room 26 was dreadful, really run down, smelly, and with everything falling apart. We used to stay here because the price was good, but it went from $90 to $100, and we won't be back. It's barely 1 star accommodation. The lovely woman running the place is always run off her feet and she's really sweet, but the accommodation itself is a no from me.

We were trying to find affordable long-term accommodation on the coast for my partner's mother and little brother, who are homeless. Online, this place says it can work out affordable rates for stays from 1 week to 3 months. When my partner called, the woman told him it was $95 a night and they don't change that for weekly rates. He was flustered and asked whether it was the same place and about the website, because he couldn't understand why the listing said one thing and the phone call another. She said he was being rude and that she and "David" wouldn't help with cheaper accommodation. He wasn't rude, just stressed and trying to find somewhere they could afford. As she was hanging up, she rudely said they offered a long-stay option. So disappointed in the customer service.
