Rio Rita Ocean View Apartments

The beach is right across the road, and Mogo Zoo is only a short drive away. We found the park convenient for getting around, with roomy grass sites and clean amenities. It was dog friendly too. We spent two nights here and would definitely return.

We really enjoyed the quiet feel of Rio Rita Caravan Park. Our powered caravan site was spacious, and the park was neat and clean. It’s an easy walk over the bridge to the heart of Bateman Bay, with the water just a short step away. We stayed five nights and would definitely come again.

The owners were around and very friendly, and they saved us thousands of dollars and a lot of heartache when our awning nearly blew over. We stayed four nights on a powered site in mid January 2026, after having never heard of Rio Rita Caravan Park before booking. The beach straight across the road turned out to be calm, clean and lovely, with enough shade. We had no need to swim anywhere else. The nightly price was much lower than at other places. The facilities were adequate, though families with children might prefer somewhere with a park and pool. We liked the quiet, modest setting, and everything was immaculately kept, including the very clean facilities. We’ll book again on our next stay in the bay, and it’s now our preferred spot.

The cabin was just right for us, and we had a lovely time. It would’ve been nicer if it were closer to the main town, though it’s only a taxi ride away. We also found an ear plug among the tea and coffee, which gave us a little laugh. Thanks for the experience.
