The location was great, and I loved having our own wharf and private beach. I would have liked a tea towel. I had to use a beach towel to take a dish out of the oven. The air conditioner filters were very dirty, so we cleaned them. The railing on the left side of the stairs is a little awkward to hold while going up.
We were surprised by how lovely the apartments were. They looked a little dated outside, but the interiors have been transformed into modern luxury. The river views are beautiful. My only gripe is the handheld shower in our unit, which floods a little. I still don’t know if they charge an additional cleaning fee. If they do, I’ll let you know. Try the fish and chips in town, but avoid the burgers.
A peaceful riverside place to recharge, with great fishing and the occasional dolphin sighting. The room was clean and air-conditioned, the amenities were great, and shops are close by. Ideal for families or couples. We can’t wait to go back!
Manager David really looks after people and is always working to keep the place tidy and clean. The apartments are great, and the sunsets are fantastic. We saw dolphins and pelicans in the river, and there’s great pizza and Chinese food close by. Visit the mountain for lovely views. Highly recommend.
The location is great and the place is quite affordable, though it’s not too fancy. If you want somewhere decent, this should do the job. The two-bedroom unit has all the amenities, and I’d definitely visit again. Great spot for sunsets and for people who like fishing.
