Port Lincoln Caravan Park

I usually steer clear of caravan parks because crowds and noisy neighbours put me off, and I'd much rather bush camp. But to explore Port Lincoln while staying nearby, a caravan park is pretty much the only option. This one won me over enough that I came back after my first night on a powered site by the water, then stayed another night and later four more nights between visits to national parks. The people made a real difference. Rochelle always had a friendly smile and good suggestions for places to see, Sandy kept the facilities clean, and Billy was happy to lend a hand. They helped me feel welcome and appreciated. The sites are very good, and the showers are pretty good too. The facilities are old, but they're clean. I could hear some highway noise, though it didn't bother me much, perhaps because the speed limit there is 80 km/hr. The roadhouse next door also has some great takeaway food. When I visit again, I'd happily stay here. One suggestion for caravan parks generally: separate recycling bins for cardboard and plastics without a 10ct refund would be useful 😉.
