Mariners North Holiday Apartments

I had to cancel my family’s five-night stay, booked from 30/12, because of a possible flood evacuation alert in Townsville that morning. They charged a one-night cancellation fee and told me I should have had travel insurance, even though we live in Brisbane. I asked to move the booking to another school holiday period, but he said I’d still be charged $560 for cancelling then. The manager was rude and didn’t seem interested in repeat stays. I’m very sensitive to natural disasters and the effect they have on businesses because I’ve been through it myself, but his disrespect and rudeness were unforgettable.

The apartments are beautiful and spacious, with magnificent views from every room. The gardens are lovely and well kept, and there’s a pool, spa, and BBQ area. Great location near The Strand, cafes, restaurants, parks, and the waterpark.

Spacious, clean units with great facilities, including a tennis court and swimming pool. Easy walk to the beach and great views.

The staff were fantastic, and they had our BBQ time slot all sorted. There’s also a separate laundry room with an easy-to-use washing machine if you need it, plus secure parking under the building with fob-operated gates. Our three-bedroom apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped for a great stay. The master bedroom had an ensuite and marina views, another bedroom had a double bed, and the third had two singles. There was also a bathroom with a shower over the bath. The pool and clean BBQ area look out over the sea from the ground floor, and there’s a tennis court too. The Mariners North Holiday Apartments are in a medium-rise building with sea and marina views.
