We felt right at home thanks to the welcoming hosts, who were friendly and genuinely helpful. The inn is close to town and the river, but nights were still quiet and peaceful. Our room was spotless, comfortable and well cared for, with a lovely bed and a clean, modern bathroom. Good value too. We had a really pleasant stay and would happily return to Heritage River Motor Inn. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We hadn’t planned to stay anywhere until our last-minute stop on Boxing Day. The place felt more like a resort than any motel we’ve stayed at, with a calm atmosphere outside, exceptional rooms and great staff. Would highly recommend.

The pool was lovely, and the motel felt like a little oasis along our long drive. Everything was very clean, well equipped and clearly well looked after. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to others.

Our first impression and stay were badly affected by the front desk service. After the long drive from Sydney to Brisbane, we arrived at 1:00 pm, an hour before the 2:00 pm check-in. The receptionist was dismissive and rude from the start, with no basic courtesy or understanding. She said check-in could be delayed and we might not get the keys until 2:15 or 2:30. I’m sharing this so other travellers know what happened. Being treated this way can ruin a whole trip, and no one should have to deal with it.

The grounds are truly beautiful, and the rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. I was greeted warmly and felt welcome. For this general price range, it’s the nicest motel I’ve stayed in. Whenever I’m in Grafton, this will be my first choice. The owners should be proud of what they’ve built. Highly recommended.
