The staff were really friendly. One of them saw me come back and asked if I needed anything, which was very nice. The room was clean and had a fridge, toaster, electric kettle, and air conditioning. What surprised me most was that the single room had its own bathroom. I’ve stayed in nearly ten single rooms in Australia at similar prices, and Kingsley Motel and Cabernet Resort stands out as the best.

The food was delicious, so hats off to the chef. We hadn’t eaten here before, just driven past, but I wanted to take my partner somewhere nice for dinner and we had a fabulous time. The restaurant staff were warm and welcoming, with the kind of table service you hope for. Thanks for the hospitality.

Big kudos to the team at the Kingsley Motel in Manjimup. They confirmed things quickly before I arrived and made a late-night check-in work. We had to stop along the way because my partner was in gear failure, so we couldn’t choose our arrival time. Parking right outside the door was very convenient. Great value and warm country hospitality, I’d highly recommend Kingsley Motel to anyone visiting Manjimup!

There’s no sink or microwave in the room, which is the one drawback. Still, it’s centrally placed and works as a base for a few days of day trips: Albany, then Denmark and Walpole, plus Bluff Knoll, Pemberton, and Augusta.

The staff were helpful, and having a restaurant attached was handy. But there was only one weak bed light to share, and nowhere comfortable to sit after a long day of travel. A sofa or tub chairs are a must.
