Boomerang Hotel

There's easy freeway access towards Sydney or Melbourne, and plenty of shops nearby. The town is about 5 kilometers away. I was confused when we first arrived because this looked like a hotel, but staff soon explained that the motel entrance was around the corner. They were welcoming and helpful. Our recently updated room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom floor sits slightly higher than the main floor, and it'd be nice to have seating outside the rooms, though neither was a major issue. I'd definitely stay again: good value, comfortable, ideally located, with staff who know what they're doing. Check it out.

We waited 1.5hrs for food and checked with the kitchen a couple of times. They assured us our meals were coming, then at the 1.5hr mark told us they'd lost the docket and no food was on its way. Why wasn't that caught earlier? Dan the manager handled things well, and I can't fault his service, but everyone else we dealt with gave terrible customer service. Several meals at our table had problems too. I won't be back for a meal.

We had fun playing triva over a delicious meal, and the hotel atmosphere and staff were great. Our room was large, clean, well laid out, and had comfortable beds. Continental breakfast was included and the rates were very good. Great pub and a good stay all round. I'll stay here next time I'm in Albury.

The Boomerang Hotel was a great visit, with spotless, well cared for rooms and a friendly team who were happy to help. Juanita, the publican, deserves a special mention. She's wonderful and goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. You can tell the place is run with pride. I'd definitely recommend it.
