The receptionist was very friendly, and the location was wonderful. It’s a nice spot for a day, but the room didn’t feel worth the roughly 280-300 AUD we paid. It was pleasant overall, just not the value I expected at that price.

There were no cleaning products for us to use, and during our 3-day stay the room was never serviced. The room felt old and hadn’t been properly cleaned. For two people, we were given just one small bar of soap, with no shampoo or other toiletries. We were also told the outdoor heater wasn’t being used to save electricity, which made things uncomfortable in the cold. I wouldn’t stay here again.

It was unbearably hot, and we were bitten all night by visible bed bugs. We called to complain and the woman said the owners were away holidaying. We were all horrified. When you pay good money, you don’t expect this.

The location by the river was lovely, and the motel is easy to reach from the highway, close to shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and pleasant, and the staff were helpful and friendly. We’ll come back.

It was clean and worked for us for one night. The rooms are quiet, set back off the highway, but the beds felt like bricks. They’d tried to freshen up the decor, though the awful old bedside tables were still there.
