The location made it easy to walk to the shops and pubs, including Woolies, IGA and Dan’s, and the staff were courteous and friendly. They made up the room each day with a smile. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a large, lovely bathroom with a great shower. The price was amazing, and the motel pool was a bonus for the kids while they were here as part of a cricket carnival team.

Reception staff were genuinely helpful, and the motel is in a great spot in town. My first room was a deluxe queen at the front, and the traffic noise went on all night. With a balcony room, the verandah lights also shone into the room. On the second night I moved to a room at the back, which was much quieter and darker.

Reception were lovely and sorted out an early check-in, which helped us a lot. Our executive king suite was clean and modern, with a great bathroom and bathtub. The bed was big and comfortable, and it stayed quiet overnight. A lovely stay :)

The pool was a hit with the kids, and you can walk to everything you need from this spot. The rooms were clean and the hot shower had excellent pressure. They brought us a toaster and microwave; we brought our own disposable cutlery. Great price, and every staff member was super friendly and answered the phone.

The outside looks a little dated at first, but our room was a pleasant surprise, refurbished in a clean, comfortable, modern style. That contrast really stood out in a good way. We didn’t use the pool, so can’t comment on it. We had an enjoyable stay and would be happy to return to Central Caleula Motor Lodge.
