Paringa Caravan Park

We were glad the air conditioning worked so well during the 35-degree heat. My four adult kids and our dog stayed cool in a modern, clean two-bedroom cabin with a king bed and what seemed like two other king singles. They said it was better than places we'd stayed with our dog before. All the cabins welcome dogs, which helped when a hot forecast made camping unsuitable for our small dog, and I booked at short notice by phone with Jasmeet, who was patient and helpful. The park has no river access, but Renmark is just a five-minute drive over the bridge. The price was great, especially at a busy time of year when other parks were booked out. Sorry, no photos, they didn't take any.

We spent two nights on a powered site with our camper trailer. There are maybe a dozen drive-through van sites, plus cabins in lots of sizes. The park is dog friendly and has a small pool and a community kitchen. Across the road are an IGA and a pub; the second-hand shop next door is worth a look, with memories everywhere. Renmark is 3 km over the bridge for everything else you need.

I don't normally leave reviews, but Deep deserves a mention. He was polite, thoughtful and really helpful with my accommodation request and all my questions. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and I'm very grateful.

I was using a camping trailer, so I didn't stay in the caravan park rooms, though they looked modern and very nice. The park is in a quiet, safe spot. I'd be happy to stay there again next time I'm in the area, and to recommend it to others. 😀
