The steak at the onsite restaurant was the highlight: perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. I travel for work and stay in plenty of motels, and this one is awesome. The rooms are nice, the beds comfortable, and the showers have strong pressure. The pool was divine after a long day. Highly recommended.

We arrived late and the staff were so accommodating and polite. The room was great and very clean, and the pool facilities were awesome. Dinner was cooked to perfection: the steak was just right, and the corned beef was the best I’ve had in ages. The hotel is really well run, and we were glad to stay. Thanks for having us. If we pass through town again, you’ll be our first choice.

We were in town for the Elvis Parkes Festival and have rebooked three rooms for next year. It’s a little out of town, but the hourly shuttle bus is great. It was a bit expensive, though I suppose everywhere is at festival time. Staff were polite and friendly.

The owner/manager is a delight to talk with, and dinner in the restaurant was superb. It’s peaceful and quiet, very clean, and just a two-minute drive from the city centre. We’ll be back next time we’re in Parkes.

The owners accused us of causing a smell in the room, and it felt like they were trying to scam us for extra cleaning fees. The room was small, damp, and outdated. They made my child cry. We won’t be back, and they’ve lost a frequent flyer.
