Mango Hill Farm

The wrap around verandah at Dovecoat house was our favourite spot to relax, with somewhere comfortable to sit whatever the weather. It’s beautifully appointed, and the lovely grounds gave the kids room to explore, get outdoors and have a bit of adventure. The farm animals are friendly too, so bring plenty of carrots. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back.

Our kids were outside all day, feeding animals, picking fruit and playing. There was plenty of space, it felt safe, and they had lots of little moments to remember. As a couple, we also found it a lovely place to slow down and reconnect. The restored cottage has heaps of charm and sits among peaceful gardens with friendly farm animals. It’s on the Sunshine Coast, near Brisbane, and made for a wonderful farm stay. We’ll definitely be back.

Friendly animals, peaceful views and a campfire made for a great stay in the tiny house. Maleny and the surrounding areas are only a short drive away. I’d recommend it if you’re after some R&R.

The animals were right outside when we woke up, and the chickens even came by each morning while we ate breakfast on the veranda. Hope they didn’t spot our scrambled eggs! Ben was welcoming and helpful, and took us around the farm so we could meet Wilson the cockatoo. We stayed in dovecote cottage for our anniversary. It was clean, cosy and charming, with a comfy bed and a luxurious bathtub. Mango Hill Farm was a special place to relax. Wish we’d stayed longer, and hope to be back next year. Thank you, Ben!!
