What made this frustrating was how impersonal the response felt. I contacted the accommodation two days before arrival because of a family emergency and couldn’t use my two-day booking. I was told it had already been prepared, which didn’t feel like a personal reply. The only option was cancelling the whole booking without a refund under the policy. I understand business decisions, but there wasn’t any consideration of a small refund or moving the dates. A little understanding and a personal note would have improved the experience. I’m now reluctant to book again or recommend it to friends.

In the middle of spring, the Riesling trail was lovely for a morning walk and again at sunset, and it’s only about a 100m walk to reach it. The Airbnb itself was beautiful, with courteous hosts and a fridge full of breakfast treats, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, butter, all of it.

The natural scenery nearby is amazing, and the BnB is cozy, artsy, clean and really convenient for a few days’ stay. There were lots of bugs, flies, spiders and cockroaches, though. Since it’s right in the mountains, I can understand it, but anyone who really dislikes bugs should know.

The breakfast kept coming up because we never eat that well at home, especially when we can take our time cooking on a Sunday. The place is so well set up for a great weekend, cozy and well repaired. Love this place, full stop.
