The actual sandy beach was the best part, and having their own trolleys to carry things between the car and the room was handy. That terrace could have been lovely, except a concrete pillar more than three feet wide cut the space in half. It did provide shade when the sun got too hot, but only one person could fit there at a time. And that door weighed a ton. Trying to get into the room with something in each hand was impossible. You had to push off the door frame while holding the fly screen with a foot, so it wouldn’t bite your foot or knock whatever you were carrying out of your hands, all while trying to shove “Thwomp” from mario party out of the way.
