Sharon, the Manager, was a huge help, especially after hours, and went further than she needed to. The location is really convenient, and the room was good for the price. We’d come back. Thankyou Shaz 😉🙏👍🫶 Sairz

The noise was a real problem. Guests smoked, drank, sang, and talked loudly on their phones on the balcony outside my room, and freight trains regularly went by. The room was reasonably clean, though dated, and the wardrobe was just a big cupboard with no rail, hooks, or shelves. The location is good, but it costs too much for what you get. The building felt sad and badly needed renovation or demolition. Disappointing.

I’ve been coming to Budget motel for about 10 years. On my last visit, 9-10-25, the room seemed cleaner and smelled nice. The new owners have made a very good start.

Its location is the one good thing, especially if you need the train station or buses and don’t have a car. Parking is a bit of a joke, the office lady can be rude, and they won’t service your room unless you ask. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The rooms have what you need, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Budget motel is handy for Midland Gate, Centrepoint, and Midland Train Station, particularly if you’re without a car. I’d be happy to stay again when I need a motel.
