Dragonfly Apartment on Regal

We had a very pleasant stay from 12 -17 March 2016. The apartment was roomy, with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry room. It was easy to get around, close to the airport and the public CAT bus stop. The staff were helpful, even arranging a 3.30 a.m. airport ride for my family and me. My one suggestion is that someone should have come to clean the bathroom at least once during our five-day visit. Still, thanks, Regal, for the great service and good value.

The area was great, and it was nice to have a comfortable place with good air conditioning. We arrived on a Saturday and found getting in a little tricky without reception, but managed to work it out. Renovations are underway, and I'm looking forward to seeing the place once they're finished.

A great residential place in a fantastic part of East Perth. IGA (Gourmet. Expensive, but has own hot fresh food deli) and 777 are both a three-minute walk away.

For one night in Perth, I just needed somewhere reasonably priced and close to things, and the hotel worked for that. It's quite old, with 80's furniture and little that feels modern, but I slept well and it was a reasonable deal. The check-in process bothered me most. On the day, I was told that if we arrived after 12:30pm, before the actual 2pm check-in time, we'd need to text or email a photo of our license and credit card. That doesn't feel safe, but by then what choice did we have? After sending the details, I got a lockbox code. Our key was inside alongside keys for every other room booked that day, which also seemed unsafe. Parking is available for $10 if you book directly with them, or $22 otherwise. Their rate is usually a lot higher than other booking websites, so just paying the extra may make sense.
