I only stayed one night, but I’d happily return. Paying a little extra for early check-in was very worth it, and the front desk staff were welcoming. Next time I’ll definitely book the airport shuttle. The bed was fantastic and the shower was spacious and hot, though water didn’t come through the whole oversized shower head. I missed the note that face washers need to be picked up at the front office, so remember to grab them when you check in. The aircon was noisy, but I got used to it. No ice cube trays, which was no big deal. I couldn’t get my hotspot to connect to the TV. The pool looked clean and inviting.

We spent a lovely week at Flag Motor Lodge. The welcome from the people there was warm, and the atmosphere was inviting. Our kitchenette room was clean and well cared for, with all the cooking facilities. The pool was clean and felt safe, and the restaurant served delicious food. Great location too!

The excellent customer service is what made the difference for us and earned the five-star rating. The room itself is tired, the bed was uncomfortable with a worn spring, and the tape was leaky. There are two exits at the back of the car park. I noticed some maintenance underway and hope the facilities improve by the next time we visit.

The restaurant was a welcome extra. The servers were friendly, the food arrived quickly, and the chicken parmy with chips and salad was so generous I couldn’t finish it. I had a swim in the pool, though I forgot to check whether pool towels were available. The room was clean and tidy, and the airport shuttle pickup and drop-off were a bonus. I couldn’t figure out the wifi or movie channel.

Coming from Queensland, I was a bit stressed, and Perth felt like a lot to take in with so much happening. The FREE shuttle bus was a big help for this country bumpkin. From making the booking through checkout, everything was easy. The room was lovely and clean. I’d definitely recommend Flag for either a short or long stay. Kind regards, Deb.
