The rooms had comfortable beds and pillows and enough space, and the location was great. Service was mostly fine, though the hotel facilities could use better maintenance. We got only two complimentary water bottles for three people, but the lobby refill station helped since we had our own bottles. Breakfast was decent, if a bit repetitive over our three mornings. Slippers and a dental kit with toothpaste and toothbrush are available only if you ask.

Breakfast was the highlight, with an excellent choice, and the staff were friendly. We stayed three nights in Perth and found the hotel a handy base, close to the main shopping malls, a five-minute walk from Elizabeth Quay and about seven minutes from the railway station. Our spacious room had no view, but did have a large TV with local and national channels, fast Wi-Fi and a fridge. The bed was very comfortable, though the shower pressure was a little weak.

For over 25 years, we’ve held training courses at the Holiday Inn Perth City Centre and have consistently had professional, excellent service. The conference team is attentive, friendly and professional, the rooms are well equipped, and the catering is excellent. It’s in a great location, and I’d highly recommend it for a corporate event or training session.

The cups and boiler had dirty smudges when we arrived, and the Nespresso machine put out water with particles in it. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the lobby water dispenser was handy, and breakfast was decent, but service felt average. The hotel is centrally located. The area seemed reasonably safe by day, though the number of homeless people at night and early in the morning may make some guests uncomfortable.
