Karrinyup Waters House Rentals

We’ve been here three times over the years, but this last stay will be our last. The open cabin was small, and its air conditioner was filthy, like it had never been cleaned. Staff were almost nowhere to be seen around the pool or elsewhere. Kids were doing bombies in the spa, and the pool area felt far too small for a resort this size. It was packed, like sardines. The pool had pool lice and several people, including me, were bitten. The area was dirty, with buildup on the pavers and overflowing bins. It badly needs a clean. Park Staff were extremely rude and unfriendly. Apart from the pool there’s basically nothing to do, and it gets boring. The cafe food was okay, but the drawbacks outweigh the good points. Read the reviews and don’t book.

We made the resort our base for a week of day trips into the city and surrounding area. The kids loved the different playgrounds, and the pool area was nice too. The key fobs didn’t work properly, though, which was really annoying when we tried to get through the gate. We camped at the end of the park near the forest, where things kept falling from the trees. There are restrooms in various conditions. Look for the newest one if you want nice rain showers.

The grounds team and office staff were all 10/10, and the facilities were excellent and very well maintained. The resort is in a great position and works perfectly as a tourist park for visitors.

We spent two weeks here. The location is great, with shady spots and good play areas for kids. The pool is fantastic too, with lots of seats, lounges and shade. We stayed in a small open-plan cabin with a queen bed and bunks. The foam mattresses were uncomfortable, and a horrible smell kept coming from the shower recess. The cafe food was greasy and overcooked. The reception staff were the worst hospitality staff I’ve come across, frosty and snappy. They’re the reason I’d never return.
