I stayed for a week, and Lakeside Retreat met my needs and then some. Sherie, the owner, goes out of her way to make you feel at home. She even left chocolate on my pillow at night. The house is fresh, spotless and clean, and the continental breakfast was included in my rate. The Wi-Fi was very good, the laundry facilities were good, and Sherie gave me a late checkout and discount vouchers for entertainment venues around Perth. The in-room snacks were a nice change from the limited, overpriced selection hotels often have. Sherie offers a good variety at reasonable prices. Grocery shops are within walking distance, and the place is close to main routes for getting around Perth. I travel a lot, and this is one of the best bed and breakfasts I've stayed in. I'll definitely return and highly recommend it.

The house was very clean and spacious, and the host was excellent. I would definitely choose to stay here. I also thought the breakfast tasted better than hotel breakfast, and it was delicious!
