The staff were rude and unprofessional, answering requests abruptly. The rooms weren't clean, and the bathroom seemed poorly sanitized. I left disappointed and wouldn't recommend the hotel.

Pip really went out of her way for us. We got there at 11.30 just to ask about leaving our bags, and she was happy to take them. She even said the room would be ready at 12 so we could check in then. She was so welcoming, and the Chinese place she recommended was just around the corner with amazing food. Thanks again, Pip. We’ll definitely stay here again when we're in Freo.

The room was spacious and had a nice bed, though early light comes through the uncovered bathroom window behind the wall at the head of the bed. We had no hot water. I know this is probably unusual, but I messaged the number on the reception door and the accommodation via Expedia, and neither replied. Entry was contactless, so there was nobody on site to help. I waited a couple of days to give them a chance to respond, but heard nothing. We'd planned to spend the morning in Freo, but without a shower we went home instead. Even a quick apology would have been fine. Pretty disappointing.

The rooms are modern and lovely, and the location is just right. I've stayed here several times and have never been let down. The staff are fantastic and always ready to go above and beyond to help. I'd give the place 10 stars if I could. Love it.

We came back for a second visit and had another lovely few nights away. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and that extra outdoor shower at the back was a fun surprise. Right in the middle of Freo, too. We'll be back.
