This is a restaurant-only review. We had a great Saturday meal at 1.30pm. The steaks, fish and kids' meals were excellent, and there were nice craft beers on tap. It was quiet at that hour, making it a good spot for a relaxed family meal or a laid-back catch-up. The serving staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely go back.

From the late check-in through the room and breakfast, everything was an amazing experience. The place holds on to its heritage, with an old-style feel in a modern location, and that's awesome. I couldn't fault it. Great value for money and an experience to remember. The bathroom alone was worth every cent. 10/10, we'll stay here again.

The room was cold and the ambience was nice on a hot day. The food was decent, though it took quite a while despite the place not being very crowded. I ordered a No-Jito listed at $12 and was charged $21. The staff were rude too.

There's outdoor dining, indoor tables and a garden area at the rear of the hotel. Street parking only, and it's suitable for couples, groups and families. I've enjoyed the $12.50 breakfast and Saturday steak special for $25, both tasty and very good value. The beer, wine and coffee were good and reasonably priced. Service is good, and the venue is quite popular.

It was easy to explore the CBD from this spot on St Georges Terrace. The heritage character is charming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bar and restaurant had a relaxed feel. Staff were friendly too.
