After I injured myself in Perth, Sandra and Bill’s support meant a lot. It was comforting to have a “home” to return to while I wasn’t well, and they even let us store the bikes we couldn’t ride. The house and gardens are lovely places to relax. Our room was spacious and bright, with a modern bathroom, and Sandra and Bill were delightful hosts. The location is convenient too: the restaurant strip is a 10-minute walk away, and the train station is two minutes on foot, with just two stops to the city.

Breakfast each morning was served in a lovely atrium overlooking the gardens. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, with private bathrooms, and the gardens are wonderful too. Sandra and Bill are extremely hospitable owners. We’ve stayed here several times over the past two years and couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant visit. We highly recommend Durack House!

The train station is only a short walk away, which made it easy to explore. Sandra was a lovely host and looked after us with plenty of tea and biscuits, a gorgeous Camellia room, and a hearty breakfast. It’s a quiet, welcoming home and we had a brilliant stay. We keep coming back to this fantastic Bed and Breakfast. The owners of Durack house are warm and friendly, and always make us feel welcome. The breakfast is one of the best, and the rooms are exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable. The front and back gardens are full of beautiful, well cared for flowers. It’s also in a prime spot, just a stone’s throw from Perth City, with lots of good restaurants about a five-minute walk away. I’d highly recommend this lovely B&B.

This review is long overdue, since we stayed nine years ago, but we still remember Sandra & Bill as wonderful hosts. We had cosy rooms and a great breakfast, even though my partner, now my wife, was really sick and barely left the room. If you guys still remember us, we’d love to come back with our two kids in tow, hopefully when the world is normal again. Love from Singapore. -Jeremy & Charlotte
