The Westin Perth

The team made us feel welcome from check-in through checkout. Everyone we met was friendly, professional, and helpful, which really lifted the stay. We also appreciated having access to the Club Lounge, a peaceful place to unwind with a fair range of food and drinks during the day. The evening canapés and drinks were a lovely start to our NYE celebrations. We spent two nights at The Westin Perth over New Year’s Eve. The hotel was modern, elegant, and well cared for, and our room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable despite the busy holiday period. The Heavenly Bed lived up to its name. It was a fantastic choice for the occasion, and we’d happily return for the comfort and service.

The room was very good, just as expected, with some of the best views of Perth City. Housekeeping was doing a good job too, no complaints there. I like Westin and had booked this long stay well in advance. Check-in was the problem. I was told the room would be ready in 30 minutes and they’d call, but I waited almost an hour and a half. After I asked a couple of times, they gave me the room and said it had been upgraded to a high floor 😂😂😂. For guests staying a long time, I wish the hotel offered at least some freebies, regardless of membership eligibility.

The CAT bus stop nearby made it easy to get around Perth city, and the hotel was comfortable for the kids. We found the surroundings modern and the facilities excellent. Check-in went smoothly, hospitality was great throughout, and breakfast was lovely with good service. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

The lounge access was a real blessing, and the rooms were great. We had a suite and a connecting room, with a few minor glitches that weren't serious. What made the stay memorable was the front desk team. Philip the Rockstar nailed every detail and really represents the Westin. Paulina was so accommodating, and Reno Budiman was super helpful. They were all fabulous. A few room details could use attention: sturdier hand showers in the bathrooms, better water pressure, and a bit more care with cleanliness. That last point is for housekeeping, and the hardware and pressure are owners' and maintenance issues.
