West Beach Lagoon 103

We spent more than $2,000 booking this property for nine days with our 18-month-old son, and the apartment was filthy, disgusting, and very outdated when we arrived. It was obvious it hadn’t been properly cleaned before check-in. When we asked for a refund, Caroline&Gabi from MyholidayWA refused. They offered to move us temporarily while the original apartment was cleaned, which should have happened before our arrival. We then had to leave the temporary apartment the same morning as our important 10 AM appointment at the U.S. Consulate. That added stress to an already awful situation. Management was disrespectful and thoughtless, with no regard for the trouble they caused. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

We spent a lovely week here. Our apartment was on the top floor, with ocean views, and it was charming and clean.

Gabi and Caroline were great, and the location was a 10/10, right in front of scrabs. Free parking was a nice bonus. I booked from 15th dec till 18th dec 2024, but the room wasn’t cleaned properly and was a bit dirty. There wasn’t any facial tissue either. Getting to the room takes some effort, with lots of stairs.

The pool is great, there’s plenty of shade, and the BBQs are nice. The facilities are good, the water pressure is excellent, and the private parking is tight but not secure. The room is dated, more like the 70s, and its small AC has to work hard. Neither bedroom has AC, though they provide a little fan to push cool air in. The so-called single bedroom is really the entry hall. There’s no internet, and the old TV only gets terrestrial channels. Hot water is extremely hot and a bit fiddly. Sleeping was okay, but this is basic accommodation. I’d give it two stars, with the third only for being close to the beach.
