The bathroom smelled bad, and there wasn’t even any shampoo. The place felt extremely cold and very old. It also seemed dirty, with the duvet tucked in but no bedsheet underneath. We didn’t have a great stay.

The owner was friendly and easy to deal with, and the villa was clean with all the facilities we needed. We had a really nice stay. If we’re back on the Great Ocean Road, we might choose this place again.

The kitchen was well equipped, the queen bed was very comfortable, and the villa was clean, quiet, and homely. The staff were lovely, and we appreciated the welcome card and wine. It had everything we needed for a comfortable family stay, and the beach was close, though not really walkable with bags and towels. Unit 3 was a frustrating choice with a dog. There’s no outdoor or backyard space, so you’re stuck inside. Units 1, 2, and 4 all have private grassy areas with outdoor settings, and even a deck, but we had nowhere to sit outside and enjoy the lovely weather. Our pup needed to rest at home after running around on the beach, and the only option was to find a patch of grass near someone else’s place.

Jim, who runs the place, was nice and happy to help with anything we needed. The bed was comfortable, though the couches weren’t particularly comfy. It’s a bit dated, but for the price we paid it was good value. A nice place to stay for a night while travelling the Great Ocean Road.

Great value for money, and I’ll be coming back. The villa was super comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The hosts were great, and I appreciated the tip about some stunning sites to check out. After reading some reviews, I think the villa must have had a recent refurb, because it felt modern and clean. Absolutely recommend!
