The house was spotless, and the setting was lovely. We had a great stay here as a family with our kids. The rooms felt roomy, and the decor had thoughtful details. The hosts made us feel very welcome, and there were nice touches for children, including a play area. It felt safe and easy to enjoy our time together. We’d happily recommend it to families looking for a comfortable getaway.

The Other House made a great base in the Adelaide Hills, just behind Mt Lofty and an easy drive from Stirling and several other towns. Check-in and getting in touch were straightforward. Inside, it was quiet, comfortable, exceptionally clean, and beautifully renovated. Vicki had thought of plenty to make us feel at home, including breakfast provisions and treats. There was also undercover parking, a full kitchen and laundry, and a BBQ. We had a lovely weekend, thanks for a wonderful stay.

The fireplace was a highlight, and the heated bedding was wonderful in the cold, wet weather. We arrived to a gorgeous breakfast spread, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was very clean. Vicky was thoughtful and well organized, with clear, carefully considered instructions to help make the stay enjoyable. The house sits among a vineyard, and its elegant renovation kept its charm, with lovely details in every corner. We’re so glad we booked this gem and would happily come back. Thank you, Vicky, for everything.

We stayed over the Xmas break and had such a great getaway. The house was comfortable, clean, and beautiful, perched on a hill with lovely views and a quiet feel. The host was really helpful and accommodating. Though tucked away in the Adelaide Hills, it’s only a short drive to lots of pubs, wineries, and places to eat. We’ll definitely come back.
