The food was delicious and the portions were just right. The waitresses and chef checked in at the right times without hovering, and the staff even offered to take photos for us. The setting by the fountain and veranda was beautiful, and the whole High Tea felt warm and welcoming. When I went to confirm our booking at the counter, Sam, I think that was her name, was immediately helpful. She even found items I'd forgotten, including stationery. I later heard Susie had helped set up the room the night before, which took a lot of stress off me. I'll definitely come back, and hopefully stay overnight next time.

The reception food was great, and breakfast the next morning was good too. My room was clean and well furnished, with an excellent bed and linen and pillows to die for. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the grounds were beautifully kept, with fountains galore. My family held my niece's wedding reception here and booked several rooms for guests, most of whom drove up from Sydney. I could park close to my room, which was fantastic in 40-degree heat. I don't often get to stay somewhere like this, and I didn't want to leave. Well worth the drive if you want to spoil yourself.

We loved every minute of our stay. The resort was beautiful and relaxing, and we'd happily come back and recommend it for a memorable getaway. A special thank you to Sam at reception. She was welcoming and professional, and went out of her way to help us plan things to do in the area. Her suggestions made the trip even better.

The meals were a real highlight, both breakfast and dinner were tasty and priced reasonably, so the stay felt like great value. The hotel also made the Hunter Valley trip one of the happiest I've had. Our room was immaculate, and the staff did far more than I expected. The building has so many thoughtful details and lovely photo spots. I'd happily return and recommend it to friends.
