Wine Country Villas

Rain fell for the few days our family stayed in late March, but this was still a lovely place to walk around. Chateau Pato, a charming boutique winery, is nearby, and we also got the chance to see wild kangaroos up close. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the pool looked stunning. We also spotted kangaroos hopping around by the trees and pond. Our room was spacious and clean, with a roomy kitchen that had everything we needed. The bathroom was spacious too and had plenty of amenities. The balcony is lovely, with amazing views. Definitely a 10/10 for us, we'd stay again.

The bed was comfortable, and you can choose to heat the room with the enclosed fireplace or the air conditioner. Breakfast supplies for cooking your own meal are included and make for excellent value. The Wine Country House has a spa, and there's a pool at the other end of the complex. I liked sitting on the private patio, watching ducks on the pond or looking out for kangaroos and joeys hopping through the property before sunset. Highly recommend.

The view from bed was lovely to wake up to, and parking was easy. The pool is fantastic, and the included breakfast was great, with plenty of water and condiments. The bed was comfortable and a good size, though a few more hangers would help. The villas had some strong points and some disappointments, but I was comfortable overall. They wouldn't allow early check-in, which made getting ready for an afternoon wine tour difficult. The air conditioner wasn't enough for the size of the room. The toilet was open at the ceiling, so sounds from using it could be heard in the main room. Guest instructions were hard to find for the equipment, pool location and takeaway options. There was also dust in several places, so the cleaning could have been better.
