Two bookings turned into one seamless stay. After a quick chat, the team upgraded us and made the whole thing effortless. Amazing staff and a great host. We’ll be back!

That gentle breeze while watching the sunset made us wish we’d booked one more night. The relaxed pace felt like the Australia experience we wanted, and you can even feed the chickens, though it sounded like a few had recently been taken by wolves. We also used a drone to enjoy the stunning scenery. Our cabin was a lovely independent place with a cozy wooden interior, a dining table, small seating area and sofa. The doors and window screens let in a fresh breeze. The air conditioning could cool or heat the cabin. The TV seemed a bit outdated, and YouTube or Netflix would have been nice. The kitchen had the essentials, including salt and oil, a coffee maker and instant coffee. There were two cartons of milk in the fridge, plus instant hot chocolate. The stove had to be lit with matchsticks, with instructions in Chinese and English in the cupboard. Just remember to clean the utensils after using them. The bathroom was generally clean, though there were a few small insects on the ceiling and walls, probably because of the humid weather. They didn’t bite. The bedroom was comfortable, but charging outlets by the bed would have been handy. We arrived around 5 PM after driving from Melbourne and seeing the Twelve Apostles, finishing our sightseeing around 4. Port Campbell Beach is nearby, and the Twelve Apostles are about a 15-minute drive away. If you’re driving, you can park next to the cabin. On the way into Port Campbell, it seemed to be the only town with a small supermarket. Its prices were a little higher than larger chains like Woolworths, but still reasonable. We bought meat, vegetables and red wine to cook at the guesthouse. There are restaurants in town too, although most close fairly early. The front desk staff welcomed us warmly. If you expect to check in after 8 PM, let the host know in advance.

This was our second time at the property, and our Hank loves staying here. It’s perfect for a pet stay. The cottages are immaculate and well equipped, and the gardens and farm look stunning, with beautiful views. Thanks to our hosts, Laura and Andy!

The suite had everything we needed, and the bedding was nice. We loved the fresh flowers in the room, and the view from the suite was peaceful and pretty. Free laundry was a bonus. The owners quickly finished their load so we could use the machine.
