The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and the location is really convenient for both the beach and restaurants. The main pool was OK, though cold 🥶, and there were plenty of loungers. I’d have liked a bar or some music, but it’s a small hotel, so that’s OK. They were a bit light on supplies like toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent and hand soap.

The location really stood out: the beach is no more than 100m away, and the Main Street is a short walk. We loved our stay and highly recommend it. We were on the top floor in a two bedroom apartment with a nice view and balcony. It was very clean and welcoming, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. The lounge was a great spot to unwind and watch a movie at the end of the day. There’s free wifi and undercover parking, plus three pools to choose from, including one that worked well for the kids. The staff were friendly and accommodating with the sleeping arrangements for me, my husband and our three children. After-hours check-in and check-out were simple and easy.

We’ve just arrived at Beach terraces holiday apartments and are very happy to come back again. Our room is beautiful, overlooks the pool and was spotless. The staff are amazing and leave nothing to chance. Having a washing machine and dryer available was a bonus, especially with the inclement weather. Thank you!

The place is a little dated, but that didn’t take away from the location or service. It was spotless, the BBQ area was clean and the staff were a delight. When a storm stopped our aircon working, the receptionist fixed it straight away. Highly recommend.

The complex is handy for both “4mile beach” and Port Douglas Main Street, both within walking distance, and there’s plenty of onsite parking. We’ve stayed here many times over the years and love the place. I’d recommend it for a short or long stay in Port Douglas. Our ground-floor one bedroom apartment had a balcony overlooking the pool, a large lounge and dining area, and a big kitchen with the usual amenities. The spacious bathroom had a F/L washing machine and drier, and the queen bed was comfortable. It’s a three story building with no lift, so anyone who has trouble with stairs should keep that in mind.
