Sofia and Pete made us feel so at home with all the thoughtful comforts they provided. It made our stay incredible. The house is beautifully styled and so well equipped, and especially suited to families with children, even babies and toddlers. We hope to return one day.

The layout gave us our own spaces for privacy, while the main living area opened onto the beautiful pool and brought us together. We had a great week at Pineapple Pete's Beach House with two adults and three teenagers. Everything we needed was provided, and the rooms had modern design, tasteful furnishings, and eclectic artwork. Sofia and Pete welcomed us warmly and made sure we had what we needed.

We visited during the wet season, so spent time both inside and outside, and enjoyed both. Swimming and relaxing by the pool, eating and playing games alfresco, or watching a family movie, it was all a lovely time at Sofia and Peter's beautiful house. Pineapple Pete's was a great spot for our family of four to get away. The house has everything to be self-sufficient, and Port Douglas is an easy five-minute drive away.

The house's stunning decor and perfect barbecue area made it tempting to stay in and cook every meal. We had come to Pt Douglas for tours, restaurants, and town, but ended up staying home almost every night because it was so delightful. There's plenty of space for a large family or group. We couldn't fault it and will definitely return. Thanks, Sofia and Peter!

Sofia and Peter are incredible. Even if the house had been nothing special, meeting them would have been enough to make me choose to stay. But it was special: smart luxury, unique decoration, a great location, and lovely meals outside. I've travelled around the world for eight months, and this was by far the best place I stayed with my family. My dream home, and the best place in Port Douglas for sure.
