Amanda and Peter arranged our airport shuttle both ways and booked our day trips for us. They reached out as soon as we booked, and their excellent, friendly service continued right through to our goodbye after a wonderful holiday. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with too many inclusions to list. There’s a lovely clean pool surrounded by tropical trees, and the location is convenient for the beach, marina, shops, bars, and restaurants. I highly recommend Outrigger apartments.

Our apartment at the Outrigger Holiday Apartments in Port Douglas was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable for our family of five. The kitchen had everything we needed to settle in, and the kids spent hours at the beautifully maintained pool. We stayed over Easter, and Amanda surprised the kids with Easter eggs, such a thoughtful touch. Peter and Amanda were a big part of what made the stay special. They’re genuinely kind and welcoming, and made a point of greeting us personally when we arrived and when we left. Our kids adored them, and the goodbye hugs said it all. The location was ideal, an easy walk to the main strip so we didn’t need the car, though the undercover onsite parking was a great bonus. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts or a better place to stay. Thanks for making the trip so special, we hope to come back!

The hosts made the trip, helping us arrange day tours and pointing us toward good restaurants and things to do. The rooms were clean and roomy, and the location was just right. We had a fantastic holiday here, especially for the price. Highly recommend!

Peter & Amanda were lovely to deal with, and we booked our airport shuttle and a couple of day trips through them. My son and I spent a week at Outrigger, from 26/12/2025-02/01/2026, and really enjoyed it. It’s a quiet spot but still close to everything. Thanks! Greg & Jamie, Melbourne.

We stayed four nights mainly because of the location, but the room was old and dirty, and there’s no elevator. There was just one basic push-button lock, with no backup. For what it costs, I expected much better. The host wasn’t nice, especially Peter.
