I had a large room with a kitchenette and bathroom, and the location couldn’t have been more central. Everything was extremely clean, and the bed was really comfortable. I was given the room at Ashmont Motor Inn while taking part in the Port Fairy Literary Weekend, and it was just right. I highly recommend it.

The lighting options were terrific, and we had a good-sized mini bar fridge with a freezer compartment big enough for our four Esky ice blocks. There was also a microwave, kettle, toaster and some crockery. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with modern furnishings and quality linens. The location was great, within walking distance of restaurants, cafés and shops. Bettina at reception was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, thank you!

The room was spotless, and the staff member at reception was really helpful, even though we arrived just as he was heading off. We’d expected a very basic family room for our one-night stay, but actually got two rooms: one with a full kitchen and dining area plus two single beds, and another with a king bed and a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath.
