Deco Beach Luxury Apartments

The room was reasonably comfortable, but I chose this apartment mainly for the pool because I wanted to relax and swim on my birthday trip. I booked two nights, and it was a letdown to find the water full of bugs and the filter not working. I tried getting in, but got straight back out because it felt dirty and unhygienic. If the pool is out of use, guests should be told before they arrive, or there should at least be a notice by the pool. That would have set expectations and saved us the disappointment.

Deco Beach has loads of character and warmth alongside all the modern conveniences, and the renovation is beautiful. The sea view room had a huge main bedroom, with a big lounge and kitchen too, plus a funky bathroom. Right in the middle of the main area of PL, with incredible views over Boston Bay. I absolutely loved the style. Very cool, and highly recommend.

The Tasman Tce spot looks out over Boston Bay and is an easy walk to restaurants, hotels, the bakery, Coles and the main shopping area. We’ve stayed at Deco Apartments twice and can highly recommend them. The apartments are extremely comfortable, modern and well appointed, with a tasteful art deco look. They’ve got all the mod cons too, including TVs, excellent WiFi, really comfy beds, lounge and dining settings indoors and out, and a well-equipped kitchen.

Maybe a 6/10 for me. Those fluffy towels don’t make it luxury. The shower frame was rotting at the bottom where the wood was, and there were ants when we arrived. The kitchen was small and poorly equipped.
