We couldn’t go ahead with our two-night booking at Shark Apartments because my father-in-law died on the day we were due to arrive. I messaged the property straight away and contacted Booking.com to ask for a cancellation because of the bereavement. Booking.com said it had contacted the property about whether a refund might be possible. After several days, I was told Shark Apartments had not responded. I followed up twice through Booking.com myself and still got no reply. At such a difficult time for our family, the lack of even basic communication or empathy was especially disappointing. The other places we contacted during this period were understanding and responsive, but this one wasn’t. I understand that policies exist, but complete silence felt unprofessional and unacceptable. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend Shark Apartments because of the poor communication and customer service.

Right by the boat harbor, this place was a great find. The apartments were beautiful, clean, fully equipped, and seemed fairly new. Maybe they were converted storage units, but whoever did it did a great job. It’s a good option for a shark cage dive, seal adventure tour, or a bit of peace and quiet. There isn’t much to do except walk around the harbor, and there’s a petrol and convenience store across the street. If you’ve got a car, no worries. The price is great for what you get, and I’d definitely stay again.
This is the second time it’s been a great place to stay while I’ve been working in Port Lincoln. The wharf location, used by the deep sea fishing fleet, is amazing. It’s very clean, quiet and private, and has everything you need. The area also feels safe for a walk at night.
We were really happy with this nice, affordable apartment for our two nights. It was clean and comfortable, with a full kitchen, washing machine, and everything we needed. The little extras made my day, especially the box of crackers and small cereal packets. Best of the best!
I’ve spent three months working in Lincoln and always stay at Shark Apartments. They’re spacious and better value than a motel, with everything you need for a long stay. I usually book apartments 6 or 4. There’s a lounge area, a dining and breakfast bench, a full kitchen, a bathroom with the best shower, and a washing machine. Great location, good value, and right near the Marina Hotel.
