Limani Port Lincoln

I chose the self-contained room with a kitchenette and loved the king bed and large en-suite bathroom. The rooms are excellent, and there are gorgeous views across Boston Bay from your own private balcony.

We booked a room with a hot tub and were given a regular room instead. When we called reception, nobody was on-site, and they just said they knew about the false advertisement on the booking site. They didn’t offer a refund or the room we’d booked, only saying that the price we paid was for this room. It definitely wasn’t worth the money. You can’t even cook in the kitchen, and there isn’t a regular bath tub either.

We had a nice, spacious room upstairs for two nights, with a lovely view over the bay. Check-in was a little annoying because you have to download an app. We arrived before 2pm and the room wasn’t ready, but the receptionist kindly asked the cleaner to put our food in the apartment fridge. The fridge is in the same room as the bed, though, and makes a damn loud noise at night. It’s hard to sleep with that sound, so I reckon changing it might help.

The rooms are great, really modern and clean. I’d return, though I had to wait until just after 2pm to get in. It was difficult to ask for an early check-in by an hour because there’s no reception, and the phone number available couldn’t help. The lounge blind was moldy, but everything else was amazing.
