Watching boats from the deck with a drink was a highlight, and the water views from the room are great. The staff were welcoming and relaxed, and my room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The bed was especially cozy, and waking up to the marina was lovely. The restaurant and bar downstairs had delicious food. The seafood tasted really fresh. It’s a short drive to the main town and handy for walks and sightseeing. I had a great stay at Marina Hotel in Port Lincoln and would happily come back.

I’d return for the comfortable room, which was very nice and hard to fault. The food service was a different story. The meal cost $30, with mashed potato another $8, and the menu felt quite pricey. I ordered food to take back to my room and was told I’d get a call in 15 minutes. After half an hour with no call, I went down myself. The meal was cold, and once I got back to my room I found half the order missing. I called about it and was told they’d bring it up, but I declined. I wouldn’t order food from the hotel again.

The bistro meals were great, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. We stayed three nights, and on Saturday evening I noticed the fridge wasn’t working. I reported it at the bar without expecting much on a Saturday night, but staff sent someone to check and happily replaced it. We were really impressed with the service. Five stars.

We stayed into the afternoon after a very nice lunch, enjoying the view across the Marina and plenty of drinks to keep us refreshed. Thanks to Heidi and the bar staff for looking after us so well.

The food has been so good the last few times I’ve been, it really hit the spot. The cheesy garlic pizza is an easy recommendation.
