The reception staff were lovely, and the room was clean and good. Breakfast at the restaurant was really average, though, and the latte was dreadful. I left almost the whole glass untouched. The woman on duty that morning was really unfriendly, so different from the other staff I spoke with. Even so, the overall experience was great and I'd definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great, the bed comfortable, and the room clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly, and parking is available for a fee. Breakfast wasn't good value, but there are good cafes nearby. The restaurant was very expensive, and our fish, at $65 each, was dry. Everything else we had was nice.

On our Sydney to Gold Coast road trip, we spent a night at the Mercure Centro Port Macquarie. The central location made it easy to walk to nearby beaches and restaurants, and the spacious room had good facilities and amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very limited and didn't seem enough for a busy Sunday morning. The staff did their best, but the kitchen resources seemed limited. There was also just one lift, and it got very busy at peak times.

The room was clean and had everything we needed for our short business trip. The saltwater pool was great for an early swim before we headed off. It's right in the centre of town, though we could hear street noise outside. Staff felt a little unwelcoming, and for the service we got, the accommodation seemed overpriced.

The rooms were comfortable and deluxe, and the amenities were nice. We could see why this is a wedding venue. The bar staff were great and accommodating for those of us who don't drink alcohol. Breakfast in the morning was divine. The coffee probably won't suit coffee snobs, as usual. We noticed a leak in the underground car park, which was a little concerning. We'd happily stop over here or stay longer.
