My friend and I stayed five nights for only $860, and the apartment was nice with a great view. The sunny weather was good, and we walked to the beach at port macquarie. The water was beautiful and, at only 22 degrees, not too cold, just relaxing. We drove to dinner at port city bowling club, just five minutes away, and parking there was easy. The courtesy bus charged us $3 each, $6 total, which my friend wasn't happy about, so we went to reception to complain. After that we drove there ourselves and enjoyed it.

The parking was atrocious. Getting in or out felt like I might total the car. There was no hot water in the unit, and the place next door was jackhammering until 11:30 pm every night. No linen, towels or sheets were provided, and we had to take all the rubbish out of the bins when we left. elders real estate were rude and unhelpful, and their paperwork didn't even say which level our unit was on. All in all, I'd NEVER stay here again!
