We popped in for Saturday lunch and were impressed by the menu and how affordable it was. I had the Burrito bowl, while my partner chose the lamb cutlets. Both the food and service were great, with the meals arriving quickly and polite staff. Best local meal we’ve had on the mid north coast in a long time. Well worth a visit, and we’ll be back.

After a long drive, we stopped at the Settlers Inn for dinner and ordered the Wednesday special, $18 Ribs and Wings with chips and salad, plus onion rings on the side. The baby back ribs were slow-cooked just right with delicious bbq sauce, the wings were tender, and the onion rings were a huge bowl of perfection. Nothing to fault. Only wish we lived closer interstate so we could come back every week.

We celebrated my birthday over lunch and a few beers with family and friends. The food was fair and the service good. As we were leaving in the pouring rain, Bob arrived for work and helped us with a flat battery. Thanks again, Bob, you’re a legend.

I was glad we booked for Easter Sunday. It was extremely busy, but the meals came out pretty quickly and were cooked well, and the staff were quick and helpful. The Petting Zoo was great too. We’ll definitely visit again.

We’ve eaten at Settlers regularly for years, but last night’s meal has me looking for somewhere else. My prawn salad had lots of rotten leaves that I had to pick out. I showed the kitchen on my way out and the staff apologised, but it shouldn’t have been served like that. My husband couldn’t get the steak sandwich because of supply issues, so he ordered ribs instead. They were tender, but had absolutely no taste.
