The birdlife and peaceful bushland gave the park a lovely feel, and it’s an easy drive to Portland town centre, shops, cafes and the coastline. We enjoyed the calm, green surroundings and could relax at camp in the evening after exploring during the day. Our powered site was grassy, level and roomy enough for our massive air tent with space left to spare, so setup was stress-free. It was well maintained and would work well for families or a larger camping setup. The facilities were well thought out too: clean amenities, plus a good camp kitchen and BBQ area for making meals and spending time together. We were very happy with our stay at Portland Tourist Park. It’s a well-run, family-friendly place with generous sites and great facilities. We’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Portland with a tent, caravan or large setup.

Our group of 10 families stayed four nights over Easter, splitting our stay between powered tent sites and cabins. The campground was well maintained and family friendly, and it suited us perfectly. The sites had plenty of space, the cabins were clean and comfortable, and staff stayed friendly even during the busy holiday period. A great choice for families and large groups. We’d happily come back.

We had a fabulous time. Since it wasn’t school holidays, the place was nice and quiet. The ensuite sites are great, and there’s a dog run where dogs can be off leash and socialise with others.

Cindy at reception made check-in quick and easy. She was very helpful and friendly. We spent a few nights at the Tourist Park with family and were really happy with the stay. The cabin and park were clean and well maintained, and everything inside the cabin worked. It had all the kitchen utensils and appliances we needed, the beds were comfortable and the heating worked great. The area was very quiet, and town was just a short five-minute drive away. The price per night was good value. I recommend Portland tourist park and would stay there again.

A clean, well-kept caravan park for an overnight stop on our way through. The showers were hot and good, and the amenities were well looked after. It was also reasonably close to local attractions.
