Hamish was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, and Binky, his lovely dog, was a sweet and friendly presence too. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Pichi Richi Park in Quorn. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the peaceful park is surrounded by beautiful scenery. It’s close to town and a good base for exploring the Flinders Ranges, or simply unwinding in nature. We’d definitely return and recommend it to families, couples, or anyone after a quiet, enjoyable stay. One tip for future visitors: Telstra works best here, as other mobile networks may have limited or no coverage.

The sunset over the hills was magnificent, and there are great walking trails nearby. After driving 28 hours over five days from WA, we wanted a quiet place to spend a couple of days, and this peaceful park in the Ranges was just right. Our cabin was modern, very clean, and well equipped in every way. Hamish gave us a hearty welcome, and Binky, the resident kelpie, was so friendly, popping in now and then to check on us, probably hoping for a tasty morsel. We’d thoroughly recommend it.

The location is extraordinary, and the view from the top of the hill is worth the climb. There’s a trail up, though it gets a bit steep. We loved how much care the owner or owners put into making things convenient and comfortable for visitors, including a kitchen stocked with everything you need. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and bigger than it looks in the photos. And don’t forget to pet the campground dog, he’s a sweetheart.

Walking trails start right at the property, and the surroundings are so peaceful. We stayed in the South cabin, which had recently been refurbished. It was very clean, luxurious, and welcoming. The hosts were lovely, and the resident kelpie was the best. I’d have loved to stay longer.
