Flinders Ranges Motel

Quorn is a pleasant country town with plenty of history, plus a store and a few places to eat and drink. I was expecting a standard motel setup at the Flinders Ranges Motel, and the exterior fits that picture, but inside I was impressed by the comfort and thoughtful details. It would make an easy base for a longer stay in the area. Recommended.

The rooms are tucked into buildings behind The Mill and were neat and clean. Booking directly and checking in were easy, and the host was friendly and enthusiastic, with plenty of useful information about Quorn. It’s a lovely town to wander around and learn about its history. The resident cat is happy to stop for a pat and a chat.

Paul was a wonderful welcome, and he knows the area well and had plenty of recommendations. The motel room was clean and really comfortable, with everything you’d expect. I’d happily stay longer next time. Thanks again for the warm welcome and all the information.

The location made it easy to walk to everything in Quorn, and the hosts were friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help. The rooms were stylishly updated, with period furniture chosen with care, nice artwork, and quality linen. You can see the thought that’s gone into the motel, right down to the lovely coffee mugs. They have future plans that should add to its appeal. My only suggestion is to add locally made biscuits as a finishing touch. We’ll be back.
