The place was a little dated, but it didn't spoil our stay. It was tidy, clean, and spacious, with fresh white linen, comfortable beds and a choice of pillows. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there was plenty of hot water. The pool looked clean and tidy, though we didn't use it. There's no elevator, so keep that in mind. The location is great, close to the main street, and the bakery next door had great food and surprisingly good coffee. We'd happily come back.

We had four nights at Rainbow Sands Resort and really enjoyed it. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and professional. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and tidy, with lots of new things that made it clear they'd been recently refurbished. We had a working kitchen, private bedroom and bathroom, shared living area, and balcony. The outdoor BBQ got used, the pool was great, and there was plenty of parking. It's an easy walk to the beach and many restaurants, with a fantastic bakery right next door. We'd highly recommend Rainbow Sands Resort to couples and families.

The location was good, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. They let us leave our luggage while we went on our Fraser Island trip, and gave us an extra hour for checkout on our final day, which we really appreciated. Sadly, the resort itself felt like poor value for money. The rooms need a major upgrade, look tired, and could have been cleaner.

We stayed in a spacious, well-equipped one-bedroom apartment and had a lovely time. It's an older place, but clean and well maintained. Great spot, with everything an easy walk away.

We had a great week at Rainbow Sands with our 3 kids. The rooms were a decent size, really clean, and well equipped. Easy parking, everything you need at the resort, and a lovely protected pool for windy beach days. It's a 5 minute walk to everything, and the team running the place were lovely. We'll definitely be back 🌈
