Discovery Parks - Renmark Riverfront

We had a brilliant time at Discovery Park, Renmark near Adelaide. The park was spotless and looked after, and its location was just right. There was heaps for both children and adults to do. Vaughan was a huge help whenever we asked, and Alison was always ready to lend a hand and check that guests were enjoying themselves. The whole team showed a level of care and service that’s rare, and it made the visit one we won’t forget. Can’t wait to return.

We’ve stayed at heaps of parks around Australia, and this is one of the best. It was clean and tidy, in an amazing location, with plenty to keep the kids busy. Vaughan made a lasting impression when he went out of his way to help after we helped with some materials for a minor repair. His generosity felt sincere, and his good nature made the whole moment special. That kind of care and service isn’t common these days, and he reflects well on the park. We can’t wait to come back.

The location made this caravan park feel special, right by the river and only a short drive from Renmark town centre. It was friendly and well organised, with great amenities. We especially liked the pool, and the BBQs stayed clean and tidy while we were there. Vaughan made the stay even better. When I asked whether they sold stubbie coolers, he gave us some, along with little croc charms. Then he drove my two-year-old son back to our cabin in the golf cart, which he absolutely loved. Vaughan was hospitable, knew the park well, and was great to talk to.

There’s loads for kids here: a pool, water park, bike pump track, games room, equipment hire, cinema, organised activities and playground. The grounds also have a fitness centre, an outdoor cinema and BBQs dotted around. We had a small hiccup on arrival because the site assigned to us was already full of tents, but staff moved us to another one quickly. It might have been more difficult if we’d arrived after the office closed. The park has a great riverside setting and a wide choice of site sizes and types. One of the most complete caravan parks we’ve stayed at, and I’d highly recommend it.
